Preschool Parent Aware Program

Parent Aware is Minnesota’s Rating and Improvement Program for Early Childhood Programs that volunteers to participate in Parent Aware participate in continuous quality training and professional development to go above and beyond basic health and safety requirements.
Participating programs receive a rating of one, two, three, or four stars. Ratings are based on demonstrated use of best practices that prepare children for kindergarten. Each rating level builds on the previous, and helps families easily identify how far a program has progressed in adopting these practices.

Mt. Olive preschool is proud to be a FOUR STAR Parent Aware Rated Program!

Being a Parent Aware Rated Program means that not only do we use best practices to prepare children for school, but we also receive higher funding rates through the State of Minnesota’s Child Care Assistance Program and have access to Early Learning Scholarship funds, making high-quality preschool more accessible for all!
